Community Updates

Lake in the Woods is just that and more.

Lake in the Woods is a gated community in Florida’s Hernando County, very close to the Gulf of Mexico, local businesses, hospitals, and pretty much anywhere else you want to go.  There is a lake on the premises – more than one, in fact – and the natural beauty of this region is essentially right in your back yard.  HOA fees are reasonable, there is a fishing pier on the largest lake, and tennis courts are available for use by residents.  Many of the houses here feature large back yards and updated interiors.  For the security of a gated community without being restricted to 55+, consider a real estate purchase in Lake in the Woods.

Lake in the Woods, a Serene Florida Community

One of the most remarkable achievements of the Hernando County community of Lake In the Woods is to give the illusion of being secluded.  Even though it is convenient to local businesses, Tampa, the Gulf, and the highways, you might not guess from the inside.  This is a very peaceful place.  Indeed there are lakes here, and you can enjoy fishing in them, practically in your back yard.  Lake in the Woods houses range from around 3000 to 7000 square feet in size.  Even though this is not specifically a 55+ community, it is still a great place to retire.

The landscaping and flowers throughout the areas around our front entrance and the three mail box kiosks has made a positive difference. From a financial perspective, the community is far better off than it has ever been since incorporation…”
